3 illustrations as manga page


Hi!
In our ongoing practice of using screentone to make manga, we have created three different "manga page" style illustrations with several of our OCs.
It has certainly been challenging but interesting experimentation in seeing what we can achieve with the improvement achieved so far.πŸ˜€πŸ’ͺ

First couple of OC is with Antoine and CΓ©lestine.✨
We are finding a good balance between blacks and screentone and since we have been using Clip Studio it has helped us a lot.

We are having fun making these illustrations, it is not as easy to make them as it might seem, just because there are no different colors.

This time with other OCs: Esra and Kjll.✨
Here the atmosphere was the real challenge, set in an era where still without electricity and therefore lit by candles.
We enjoyed enriching the background, in which there are various objects to recall a typical π‘Ύπ’–π’π’…π’†π’“π’Œπ’‚π’Žπ’Žπ’†π’“ (or Cabinets of curiosities), typical from the 16th century to the 18th century.
